Homesulate™ foam insulation was developed by a leading chemical company in 1966 for use as a fire resistant thermal and acoustical insulation product to be utilized in commercial and residential structures.
In 1975, Homesulate™ foam products and their characteristics were expanded and refined with the help of a grant, provided by the United States Department of Energy, under the Federal Non-Nuclear Energy Research and Development Act of 1974 (Public Law #93-577).
